Stayed at the hotel and visited the bar as well and the restaurant for breakfast. It is an old building so creaking noises and low ceilings are expected. The layout is a bit weird and you have to go up and down stairs to reach your room. Free parking is available. Free wifi available and it is decent. Breakfast was delicious, buffet for continental and you order hot food. Bar has some interesting beer options and a nice atmosphere. Staff very friendly throughout. Nespresso machine in the room

Only 5 reviews so highest time for a 6th. We came here because it was the only restaurant we could book for Sunday roast for 6 people. So glad we did. Delicious food, great service and a good place to walk off lunch. Parking available at the rear

Tried out the new restaurant at the Crown. Had drinks in a lively bar, then an excellent meal in the restaurant. I'd call it modern British, with some different touches (like the Middle Eastern spices in the Cumin Spiced Lamb Rump). Attentive service. Some quality wines on the list.will be going back with more friends soon
