Reviews of Sushi and Bento Basildon

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sushi and Bento House, conveniently located right by the Basildon bus stop, making it super easy to access. From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The service was exceptional! The staff was friendly, attentive, and eager to help with the menu. They offered great recommendations, making the dining experience even better. Now, onto the food—wow! The sushi was incredibly fresh and delicious. Each roll was expertly crafted and beautifully presented. I particularly enjoyed the unique specialty rolls that showcased a wonderful blend of flavors. The bento boxes were also a highlight, with a delightful assortment of items that were all equally tasty. Overall, Sushi and Bento House is a fantastic spot for anyone in Basildon looking for delicious sushi and a great atmosphere. I can’t wait to go back for another meal! Highly recommended!

Food is amazing, fresh. Quantity of hot foods like katsu curry, fried rice etc are great in proportion compared to other restaurants. they make fresh sushi upon order, they don’t stock up food as their motive is to serve their customers the freshest sushi. That’s why sometimes it takes longer but the wait is beyond waiting

Been going for about three years now, and always had a wonderful experience. Staff are lovely and the food is great. Prices are good, £5-£15 a person. Highly recommend :)

PLEASE BE AWARE THIS PLACE IS SCAMMING PEOPLE. We ordered food through uber eats and they cancelled through uber eats by saying that it was us that called in and cancelled the order , no money was returned. Avoid if you don’t want to loose your money.

I do recommend the sushi here! I’ve ate a lot of times the last 10 months! I really like the food! Dining in is not something special to be honest, but delivery and enjoying food from home is nice! I love sushi from here, best place to eat sushi if you live near by! Fully recommended for real!!🍣🍱

Sushi is rice heavy. Tuna maki was nice. Squid was bland and not crunchy. Chicken wings were nice. Seaweed salad was good. Overall not satisfied with the food which was a shame. Delivery was very slow for mostly cold food, it took 1 hour 45 minutes to deliver. I wouldn’t return unfortunately.

Suppose to get a free miso soup. But never did. Call them, no answer, uber eats then contacted me to find out what happened. Eventually Sushi Bento cancelled the order on their end. How cheeky, thats how they solve problems with uber eats customer service to close the case I guess on their end and not to be in trouble for misleading advertising. Very disappointed SHAME ON YOU! Never got any free food! Unbelievable attitude for receiving negative comment, you are running a business accept your mistake, dont attack your customers. Never ever ordering or recommending you
