YO! Belfast

The quality and hygiene has changed since 5 years ago. The sushi didn’t taste Japanese and the lack of cleanliness, bad odour from some male staff members affected the atmosphere and food. The rice didn’t taste fresh and felt refrigerated for a couple of days and the salmon was mushy because it look like it was sitting in the sauce for too long causing it too breakdown before it got placed to our table. Before finishing my meal, I began having a stomach ache and started feeling dizzy, a kind female staff member checked multiple times on me and directed me to the toilet were I proceed to get sick in the toilet for nearly 15 mins straight. We left in a haste as I felt embarrassed and didn’t want to cause a commotion. We are very disappointed and quite disgusted and are hoping there will be extra precautions to make sure cleanliness is maintained.

First time eating in a sushi restaurant- personally I don’t like fish/ seafood but they still got good chicken/rabbit etc food for people who don’t like fish - loved the experience. Definitely will go back

We really enjoyed visiting YO! Sushi, amazing range of food that is worth the price, the experience is awesome watching the plates go round and round on the belt. However the service could be a little quicker, we were waiting around 20 minutes for ready food to be placed on the belt so we could eat while the chefs were making more. The tables are also very small and cramped. However when we got our food and drinks all of this was made up for!

Sushi came fast, but curry took approx 15 minutes. I really liked California roll. Drinks are expensive though.

Very nice and friendly staff!! Very good sushi!! Only sad the cheesecake was Out of stock 😭 Lovely atmosphère!! The chocolate mochi was tooo much chocolate for me, but the pancakes was very soft and light and perfect !! Not to sugary. Also the Sashimi was SOOO GOOD!! It melted in your mouth!!

We had to call 3 times to finally get a table here. The 1st time we were told they were only taken online reservations and 2nd time it took nearly 10 mins for staff to notice us waiting and they were not really busy. The sushi was really lovely, tasty and freshly made. There's one with avocado, cucumber, onion and tomato which was delicious😋 The main dish was nice but could have done better with a little bit of sauce.

I ordered Salmon Nigiri for £11:95, 2 Prawn Katsu Bowl for £13.95, and 2 fries and chicken which I forgot the exact name and price of, I waited 2 hours for my food to get here. The Fries were dry and cold and I never got my Salmon Sushi Nigiri, I called the driver and she told me to call the place, so I tried calling the place but I was unable to get in touch with them, I called at least 4 times but my call never went through. All my food is cold and I'm genuinely really upset, and it not like the food was cheep either, it was £40+ worth of meal, I was really excited to get my Sushi which I never got, really not worth all the wait, if you're thinking of ordering from them I warn you not to because their service is genuinely terrible. (I ordered from Uber eats)

Just alright. Kids had been so excited to try the belt and taking food off. We sat there for over 45minutes and the same 3 dishes moved round the belt. Asked the server if there was any more coming and she sorry not yet do you want to order off the menu. So after another 10 minutes we decided to order food. 1 minute later the belt had over 20 options. Not a great experience for the kids. Won't be back. Better options at a rival in Botanic.
