Jasmine Asian Restaurant

An excellent place to visit overall — I was very pleased with the food, though the portion sizes could have been more generous. We requested Jasmine tea but were served green tea instead, and while the two younger servers were exceptionally friendly and attentive, the middle-aged gentleman came across as rather disengaged and unfriendly. That said, the food itself was outstanding — freshly prepared, full of flavour, and clearly made with care. Credit to the chef for delivering such quality. The building is charming, well-maintained, and inviting. Clean, tidy, and nicely presented throughout. I would certainly recommend a visit.

An Impromptu visit tonight for two of us ( we hadn’t booked ) was a fabulous experience. Seated straight away ( it was 5.30pm ) . The service was attentive and warm. The food was very very delicious- just perfectly spiced and beautifully cooked and presented. Utterly scrumptious- every mouthful was delicious. Highly recommended and we will definitely be returning!

The new Asian restaurant in this area looks nice and clean. Friendly staff and warm welcome. I have tried two 2-course set lunches, which are £12.90 (soup or starter and a choice of main course). The food was good, but some dish a bit salty; however, it was worth trying something new.

I am very amazed at the variety of Asian food that can be tasted in the Beverley,Especially Malaysian Soup, Korean style and Vietnamese rice noodles. And of course has delicious food from China. The fine food here is reasonably priced, beautifully presented, and the environment is elegant and comfortable. The warm staff makes us feel like home. What a lovely meal! We will come back!Thank you!

We had our first visit to Jasmine tonight, and we were not disappointed! At first it was quiet, but livened up after a large table arrived. Staff were lovely, very attentive, and very kind. We definitely over ordered, but left very full with takeaway boxes. The chilli beef and crispy duck were incredible. Will definitely be coming back!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our time here! The restaurant is beautifully designed and the music adds to the relaxing feel. The food was absolutely delicious. More than generous portions. All staff welcoming and friendly. Already planning our next visit to try some more dishes!

It was a late lunch, twoish on Saturday afternoon and we were queuing to get a table for 2! Very busy. It didn't take the friendly staff long to walk us through the maze of rooms to sit us at a "numbered" table. Our order for drinks and food was taken fairly quickly but it did seem to take a while for the wine to arrive? There was a mix up with our order which went to another table by mistake 🙈 and was then taken back to the chef who then re cooked the dishes again for no reason, as it was just a mix up of the table numbers. We put it down to being so busy. We had one of the lunch options which was a starter and a main for £13.50. Our starters pork gyoza 🥟 and satay chicken were both very tasty and so were our mains were ginger chicken and schezuan crispy beef were again bang on 👍. You know what? Apart from that little menu mix up, we had a really enjoyable meal and yes we will go back!

I am suspicious of "fusion" cuisine which can sometimes mean that nothing is done well, but this was happily not the case here. Amazingly good won ton soup and a curry for me whilst my wife had the gyoza and an amazing aubergine and bean dish. Lovely man running the place with help from two delightful young women. Good portions and reasonably priced. What's not to like?
