Bentleys Steakhouse

First time here after wanting to come here for ages.......and I can say with 100% total conviction that this place is AMAZING. The staff are really down to earth and super friendly, restaurant clean and well presented, but the food? OMG the food was amazing. Some of the best ribs I've had........EVER! Simply made, but from excellent quality local produce. Well priced for the quality of food. I will certainly be back. Good job Bentley's. Knocked it out of the park.

A fun American diner atmosphere ( with creative decorations) and friendly waiters and waitresses! The food did not disappoint and was served in generous amounts. I ordered the Bentley’s chicken burger and the chicken was tasty but perhaps a sauce should have been added. Apart from the excellent food and atmosphere the only flaw was that the restaurant was quite warm.

Dinner for 5 - couldn't fault it! Starters were lovely, I had the Calamari which was delightful. The mushroom tacos looked excellent too. Most of us had steaks for main which were cooked to perfection. Highly recommend getting a side of onion rings too! The hotdog was massive but thoroughly enjoyed. Service was good and attenti, but not overwhelming. Looking forward to trying the smoke house next time.

Good food and good service. Staff are kind and attentive. The current menu is slightly different to the one on their website, vegetarian/vegan options have changed. But regardless, there is still a good choice of food, including vegetarian options and all had good portion sizes. The new pulled shitaki mushroom burger was delicious! The steaks and ribs always go down well.

Found off the busy street, known locally as the high street, this charming little business has been going for some years. With a darkened wood atmosphere and booth type seating along with bigger tables for groups, the whole place gives an American type cozy feel. Staff are very welcoming and appear to be happy to be there, a somewhat rarity these days. Staff were quick to serve and main menus along with specials are presented. A good choice of items available and although a little more on the pricier side, you get what you pay for. Fresh, hot food arrives quickly. The bar offers good choices of hard liquor along with cocktails and the standard beers etc but you come to this place for the steak. A good fillet will see you paying around £40 with some more expensive T bone steak Available. I ordered well done and my fillet was perfect….no burnt crisping beef here! Food portions are good along with the pudding choices too. Overall a meal for 2 with the top end choices will set you back around £100-£115 for three courses….but it’s worth the money. The place was packed so testament to the service and good you get here. A well earnt 5 stars all the way

The meal I had this evening was so disappointing. The food was OK but as I was finishing my main course (slow eater) and some were having desert, I asked for another bottle of wine. I was told that the bar was closed. This was at around 10pm. Our party had only had a couple of drinks and were quite reserved. Such a shame that the staff were so keen to knock off early we were denied a chance to catch up with friends and family we hadn’t seen in years. A meal out is more than shoving food on a table and pushing people out. So disappointing. The management should be ashamed (if indeed that are aware). Definitely cannot recommend this restaurant and certainly won’t be returning.

Very tasty food. Excellent service. The only for us was the volume of the music, which was too loud and not easy listening, which given this was lunchtime felt it was wrong. My husband couldn't hear anything that was said to him. Then when it got busy it was very loud with other patrons trying to have conversations over the volume of the music!!!

Happened to be in Bexhill on Sea and visited this town centre eatery. Was expecting a Tex Mex catastrophe so was very surprised to find a well run restaurant with very good food. Thing that grabbed my attention the most was the cleanliness of the place. Front of house were proud to work there. Tables were set and cleaned with diligence and care. Tick tick tick. Food was faultless to be fair. Could run many a BBQ wannabe in Covent Garden a close race. Price point extremely reasonable. If you happen to be in this lazy seaside town do pop along. You won’t be disappointed.
