Golden Dragon Chinese restaurant & Take away

we’ve ordered from this place before, disappointed but decided we’d give it another shot, we used just eat and two minutes after clicking order we were told the food was already out for delivery. Figured it was just an issue with the app but lo and behold about 5 minutes later our food was delivered. Everything was so dry like it had been sitting for hours. Salt and chilli chicken just tasted of pure salt, no flavour whatsoever. Singapore noodles tasted oily and refried, like day old food that had been reheated, once again absolutely no flavour we had to re-cook it and add our own spices which defeats the point of even getting a takeaway. Squid was rubbery and inedible impossible to chew. Absolutely horrible place, lesson learned wont be going back.

First time we used them. We had a variety of meals from Singapore rice noodles to sweet and sour chicken etc. Food was delicious, tasty, not too salty and quickly prepared. Staff was very friendly and helpful with selecting meals.

Tried this place for the first time. Wanted to sit down and eat but no one was seated eating so we decided to takeout instead. The food was very good and would definitely return. Didn’t wait long aT all and was reasonably priced. Tasty food !

Personally I think this is the best chinese food I've had for a long time! I travel from Wickford to Billericay to eat their chinese, its clean, not greasy, very tasty and not too salty. Whenever I eat elsewhere it's just not as nice. I would highly recommend the food here

Ordered delivery through Just Eat. I have come to expect food delivery to always be later than the estimate but this arrived early and the food was excellent. I was eating alone so had only ordered one main, one rice and 2 starters, but the portion sizes were very large and there was easily enough for two people. I will definately be using them again for my next takeaway.

My favourite Chinese to go to in Billericay. Haven't had any issues thus far. Long may that continue.

Waited nearly two hours for food to be delivered. Rang and said where is it? Got told it was on the way, then 15 minutes later I ring again and they said it's sitting on the side for over 20 minutes. They said they'd remake it and we can collect it. Wasn't remade as it was hardly warm, they still sent it off with a driver that had to be chased down to get the order. Never again 👎

Highly recommend fiod was delicious and didn't have to wait long at all best chinese I've had in a long time
