My family and I ate here in advance of joining in the Thursday night quiz. The food was good value lovely with good sized portions, the staff were friendly and the atmosphere pleasant. We particularly enjoyed the fish and chips and the chicken pie which were truly excellent.

Went for lunch today, 3 adults 1 child. 4 meals, 4 drinks, 3 HUGE desserts.. less than £60. You can't ask for more, for delicious, HOME COOKED food. Restaurant and bar was super busy and still the service was second to none, as was the food. Didn't quite fancy a full Sunday lunch today so opted for the steak pie with duck fat roasties 🤤 and it was such a good decision. Was unreal. Definitely recommend, you won't be disappointed, also recommend booking a table!!

Shared a quick lunch with a friend. I had the half parmo, them the hot roast sandwich and a soft drink each. Food was delicious and the service was friendly and efficient. Other meals around us looked good, especially the fish and chips. Would recommend a visit.

Been here twice now and can not fault it. I've and the light bite parrnesan both times - just the right size. Enough to feel contently full, without being stuffed. My husband has had the belly pork. Both were absolutely delicious. Service is always friendly and prompt. I really like the decor, cosy and fun. Prices are really good. A great place. We'll be back.

Always enjoy coming here for meals. The food is fresh with home cooked but restaurant quality vibes. I have been numerous times and never been disappointed.

We visited as a family a around 3 weeks ago, for a little celebration. There was a long wait for food, which didn't all come together. When it finally did arrive, the steak was really salty and undercooked, my daughter got mince and dumplings and she couldn't cut the dumplings, there was an issue with every meal except mine, my smash burger was nice. We asked for more drinks and they only brought half of them. None of the staff came to see if we were enjoying our meals. We used to really like it here, but it isn't as good as it used to be.
