Main meals teriyaki steak soba was quite enjoyable with good flavour. Staff were inattentive. Would rather stay at the bar talking to each other than took a while to come over to take our order. The banana katsu desert was lacking flavour and was dry.

I would like to express my deep disappointment with the service I received during my recent visit to your restaurant. Upon entering, I was escorted to table number 631 by a waitress and she wrote the name as ‘Tyler’ on the table. After reviewing it, I raised my hand to place an order. A male staff member acknowledged me with a nod, but no one ever came to take my order. I waited patiently for 10 minutes, yet still, no one approached. Thinking perhaps the restaurant required online ordering, I tried placing an order via your online system. However, I received an error message saying that this table number was not recognized by the system. This was incredibly frustrating and unacceptable. The service was so poor that I couldn’t tolerate it any longer. It was beyond disappointing—it was outright infuriating. I ended up walking out of the restaurant without anyone on your staff even noticing or acknowledging the situation. I have never experienced such careless, disrespectful, and thoughtless service before. I sincerely hope you take this matter seriously. I would appreciate a proper explanation, and more importantly, real improvement in your service.

I am ashamed to say but this was my fiirst time in eating at a Wagamamas. We were a large group of 8, We were met with a lovely server, who made us laugh, and had a great customer service, first impressions mean alot. I had the firecracker Chicken, it was spicy, tasty, hot and delicious 😋 It's set in a nice area of surrounding pubs / restaurants, I would say Wagas was the busiest, so speaks for its self. Only negative, we all were given our food and one of our party waited i would say 10mins for his after we were served all ours. Not to good, and i do believe in waiting until all food is served before eating. Definitely worth a visit, you don't book, you just walk in - you also can be placed next to other people, so if you don't like the sound of that, not really the place for you when its busy. For it being my first time, I was pleasantly surprised and will definitely be back.

First of all I already received some plain noodles and an ice lolly for my son as recompense for a poor experience and to cheer him up after he hurt himself. I want to make you aware that I believe it is an incorrect claim that Wagamama restaurants are kid/family friendly. I arrived on Thursday to the Brindley Place restaurant with my baby and my little boy. One other patron was in the restaurant. The waiter, Daniel, gestured loosely to where we could sit. I beelined to a corner seat with a back - my son didn't want a high chair and I am breastfeeding so this seemed most comfortable, and discreet. Daniel told us this wouldn't be OK due to the fact my buggy would be in the way (? It was in the way of literally nothing) and that there was a show finishing soon nearby so the restaurant was about to get busy. I honestly wanted to leave immediately - this was a baseless ask and seemed unnecessary. I told him I was breastfeeding and therefore wanted to be discreet, plus that we would be quick. I also told him this made me want to leave, if it were not for my son being so keen for noodles. I therefore ordered just a juice for myself; put me right off my appetite. I did tell a manager who was kind to us, and another member of the team just back from maternity leave was especially caring and hospitable. But, I then witnessed another family have the same grapple with where to sit, with the team again being unnecessarily dictatorial. I assume management dictates this but let me assure you, I have zero desire to return to the family unfriendly restaurant that is Wagamama, and will ensure my parent friends also know what they may face if they consider coming here. The attitude stinks and needs work- lead with kindness and compassion not a jobsworth approach to seating.

Came here for a lunchtime catchup with some friends from work. Bearing in mind it was Easter hols at 12pm, the venue was reasonably populated, but not full by any means. Despite there being quite a few staff milling about, there didn't seem to be anyone manning the front of house area (there is one here, otherwise we would have just sat down somewhere). We were seated after a brief delay. And then came the slightly longer delay of getting served. Which we did eventually - and from that point onwards - all was good. The menu piqued interest and the young lady serving us was attentive, friendly and helpful. Even showed us how to pay using the QR code on the table, which was a great idea. I opted for a chicken ramen with a side order of red chillies. My friends had a variety of battered shrimp and what I can only describe as "dumplings" and bao buns. The food was on point. An amazing culinary experience. Highly recommended.

Came in about half 4 on a Thursday, no queue and plenty of tables. Good spot on the canal side with other bars and restaurants. Really friendly and attentive staff, usually quality food. Will definitely be back
