Taro Brentwood

Delicious food and great service!! We had a family lunch here on a Saturday afternoon and the food was superb and great value. Each of us had something different after sharing both the chicken and vegetable gyoza but we all agreed it was delicious. The service is great, very efficient and we were looked after really well. We booked a table but it wasn't busy at this time.

Taro Japanese Restaurant in Brentwood is absolutely amazing! The food is authentic, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Every dish we tried was outstanding. Their Ube ice cream deserts were to die for! The staff are so friendly and provide exceptional customer service—truly going above and beyond. I celebrated my birthday here, and the Manager surprised me with a bouquet of flowers, which was such a thoughtful and special touch. Highly recommend this place for anyone who loves great sushi and a warm, welcoming atmosphere! Can not wait to be back!

My husband and I have had Taro on our list for a while and it did not disappoint. We were lucky to have a rare evening without kids so decided to make to most of it and finally visit Taro. The wait staff were warm, welcoming and on hand with recommendations which were fantastic as we both love trying something new. I had the chicken teriyaki bento box, so that we could try a bit of everything including the sushi and sashimi. My husband had the shoyu raman and it did not disappoint! Although we went without our kids, there were lots of families, which was great to see. We will definitely be back again!

Absolute quality restaurant!! Staff were so friendly and attentive - we never had to wait long for drinks or food. We had the tonkotsu ramen which was so full of flavour and the toppings were cooked perfectly. I loves the chicken yakisoba the chicken was perfectly cooked and the veggies were lovely and crunchy. For £80 the two of us were absolutely stuffed when we left and it's truly a shining star for Brentwood.

Lovely Japanese food - I really loved the prawn gyoza. The staff were lovely but the space is a little cramped and loud. Still worth a visit though

The staff were so polite, and greeted us with a warm welcome. They also checked on us and made sure everything was ok and that the food was to our liking. Our food came out swiftly, well prepared and the presentation was on point. Now, anybody that knows me, knows I absolutely LOVE sushi! Taro's sushi was AMAZING! That softshell crab (Spider Roll) , was the best one I've ever tasted. Even the raw salmon one (think it was Chefs Roll), was good and I don't even like raw sushi too much. I didn't even notice to be fair until my friend told me. That's how well prepared it was. The Duck Yakisoba was mouth watering. I only wish I got more broccoli as I love me some broccoli. The Duck was juicy, well cooked and was well presented. The drinks were lovely, spot on and they are not stingy with the alcohol. Love that! I can't remember what main dish my friend got but, it tasted good also. I enjoyed the atmosphere. We were like the only people there at one point so we kind of had the place to ourselves. Perfect! Everyone was so smiley and the whole place was lovely. I highly recommend eating here! I will definitely be going back there when I get the chance. Good Japanese food, nice staff, got a table right away but would recommend to reserve if a big group.

I've eaten at Taro once, and i'm still thinking about the food I had. We had the chicken gyoza's, Tori Karaage as starters, then finished by having the Kumamoto Tonkotsu ramen (Taro special ramen). It was all SO delicious!!
