I got the tofu noodle soup and it was absolutely amazing, so light and fresh and easy on the stomach despite the fact that it's a very noodle heavy dish! The portion size was massive and it's good value for money. The flavour was subtle but wholesome and the service was impeccable. All staff were so lovely and welcoming, and came to check on us and offer help. The owner is so sweet and lovely :) Will definitely be coming back

What a pleasure and delight. Hoon was a fantastic host. We are big fans of Korean food and have tried most restaurants in the area and have even undergone cooking traditional dishes weekly. With that being said, it is nice not to cook and enjoy the feeling of a home cooked meal. We explained that we were vegan upon arrival and Hoon put us at ease by explaining the whole and how he prepares each dish. We proceed to follow his recommendation of the Tofu Curry and Bibimbap paired with his homemade kimchi. I cant speak highly enough of the flavours of the dishes and the quality of ingredients and not only that, Hoon was a very personable host and we discussed all things Korea. We will be visiting again and look forward to trying more menu items. Hoon, 감사합니다.

I only had a little time and was very hungry, but the experience was wonderful from start to finish. I was served by a very friendly person who helped me choose my dish, and I couldn’t have been more satisfied – the katsu curry was absolutely delicious and filling. The service was impressively quick, and the staff made me feel well looked after and comfortable throughout. I left with a big smile and in a great mood. I’ll definitely be coming back on my next visit to Brighton!

We went to Korpan on a wim, and we were so pleased we did, the food was so delicious and fresh - so much so that we ordered more! All sauces were homemade and you can really taste the difference between here and other places! And the staff, Hoon especially, were so friendly :) We will definitely be back!

Absolutely loved the katsu curry! It was super comforting, the portion size was generous, and the price was quite reasonable. The staff were very friendly and kind, and overall, this place feels like a great little find. The setting is quite simple — more casual than a traditional Japanese restaurant — so just don’t expect a fancy atmosphere.

Great Food, Great Value in Brighton This restaurant really impressed me. The service was wonderful - friendly staff who took great care of me throughout the meal. The food was excellent. Everything I ordered was fresh, well-prepared, and delicious. You can tell they put real effort into the quality. Best of all, the prices are very reasonable. You won’t find food this good at these prices anywhere else in Brighton. It’s rare to get such great quality without paying a fortune. Definitely recommend this place if you want a good meal that won’t cost too much. I’ll be back for sure.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
