The Astronomer

Nipped in here for lunch after a long dog walk. The restaurant itself is really nice and modern. It was a quiet, midweek lunch time service. The staff were friendly and welcoming initially. It is a dog friendly venue, which is great. The food was good, served quickly and hot and nothing to complain about. I would definitely recommend and may come back here for dinner some day.

The Astronomer Restaurant. Well for starters this restaurant was Amazing! The service from waiters, Liam and Nicholas did not disappoint, very professional, service with a smile ! The food was great and they made sure temperature was hot! Head Chef Jaime even came out to ensure we were taken care of. We are staying at the Hyatt for 8 days and we are pleased that if we don’t want to venture out, we don’t have to with customer service like this! We give them a 10 out of 10! Thank you for making our stay memorable

We booked this restaurant for our anniversary meal and we had the most lovely evening. The food was amazing and the staff were friendly and attentive, the host and our server Adam really helped make the evening special and memorable. Would definitely recommend and would go again, if ever back in Cambridge.

I would recommend this place 10/10. I was craving dessert, it was getting to the evening and nowhere could take me. My own fault. But I really needed dessert, so I called The Astronomer after a couple of 'no vacancy' responses. The gent asked if I was pregnant, had a chuckle, then decided to read me the desserts. He had me at Black Forest, despite wanting to read through the rest of the list, and kindly booked me a table. I arrived, he joked, I got a table (beautiful place by the way), and he knew what I'd come for. Let me tell you - the Black Forest is the best of any I've had before. Genuinely amazing. Tried nothing else, and I'm already planning the next visit.

Food was fine. Burger is standard, not a lot of fries. Friend’s pork chop was very tough. Potato dishes were good though, and a really cute place!

If you want to enjoy the taste of good food and take in the beauty of the interior, come here more often Each of us can have a meal at home, but this cosy atmosphere can not only satisfy your hunger — it can give you a boost of energy for days to come X

Must-Visit Dining Experience! I recently had the pleasure of dining at Astronomer, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience from start to finish! 1. Exceptional Food – Every dish was cooked to perfection, bursting with flavor, and beautifully presented. You can truly taste the quality and care put into each meal. 2. Top-Notch Customer Service – The staff was warm, attentive, and made sure we felt welcomed throughout our visit. Their professionalism and friendly attitude added to the overall experience. 3. Great Atmosphere – The restaurant has a pleasant and inviting ambiance, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy a meal. 4. Perfect Playlist – The music selection was just right—setting the mood without being too loud, making for an enjoyable dining experience I would highly recommend visiting The Astronomer if you’re looking for delicious food, excellent service, and a fantastic overall experience. I’ll definitely be returning soon

Delicious breakfast 😋. The roast dinner so so however the service was excellent and the place clean and very kind. Definitely I will comeback again to try another plate :).
