This sushi spot is fantastic! The soft shell crab is an absolute must crispy, juicy, and full of flavor. The service is top-notch too. The staff are super friendly, quick to help with recommendations, and always make sure you taken care. Everything comes out fast and fresh!

Absolutely delightful - husband doesn’t really ‘do’ sushi so Emi suggested some delicious meat dishes for him while I shared a set with my daughter - we got an amazing array of lush flavours, very fresh & well presented. Service was great too. So much food that we’ve taken some home & I’m already wishing for tomorrow so I can eat it, though it won’t be as good as sit down when it’s freshly prepared. Definitely a reason to eat out in Coulsdon & they’ve been here 6 years so if you haven’t been / GO!!!

I honestly never expected to eat so well in a small restaurant in a little-known street in Croydon. After leaving Gatwick airport, I searched on Google Maps for a Japanese restaurant near me that was open until 10pm, I found this one, I was very lucky. I made a big order because we were very hungry. I tried everything and I was very satisfied, especially the fried food. The place is small but well organized and clean, the service was excellent. Absolutely recommended.

Visited for dinner. The service here was very good. The restaurant is quite small with limited seating and was quite busy on the Friday night we visited. We got a variety of items and all were quite good. The only disappointment was the tuna tataki which was extremely fishy and unpleasant, but the rest of the meal was great. The nigiri set and sashimi sets were fresh and with decent portions. Soft shell crab was cooked well and tasted fresh. The plum wine they have is delicious!

Having been to this place a few times before I felt the quality has dropped a bit. The first few dishes started off really well but then slowly lacked a bit of flavour. I did have the tasting menu so maybe in the future I would just order dishes of the normal menu. The desert/cheesecakes were rock solid as if they had been taken out of the freezer and left to thaw for a bit. They lacked flavour and seem like they were bought in from somewhere like Costco.

Really disappointing experience after seeing good reviews. They served us completely raw chicken which they were apologetic about but unfortunately it was the first dish served so put us off. The sushi is supermarket quality at best, and the ribs, pork belly and beef were bland. Can’t believe I wasted £70 here! Would not go back, I cannot understand the good reviews. Service was okay but there is no atmosphere its too quiet.

The best food and hospitality. We are lucky enough to have this restaurant on our door step and we love it every time. The food is always amazing and the hospitality and service always very warm and kind. It was my wife’s birthday yesterday and they brought a cake and some shots of sake to us. Nothing is ever too much trouble

This is undoubtedly the best restaurant in Coulsdon, but also the best sushi I’ve ever had. I’ve been fortunate to eat sushi all over the world and I’m always blown away when I eat here. Outside of the sushi, the menu still excels in taste and execution. Each dish is presented beautifully and never fails to please me. The staff are very welcoming, warm and friendly, while still being very professional and never annoying. I couldn’t recommend this place enough and wish them all the success as they truly deserve it!
