Ichiban

This is by far one of my top favorite restaurants in Glasgow. Amazing food and service. Tried it two days in a row and honestly.. it would be one of the reasons why I’ll visit Glasgow again. That’s how amazing it is.

Brilliant food here, it's my go too place when im up in Glasgow. Always great friendly service. Fresh delicious tasty food makes you want more but sizes are enough.

Very good and nice pricing. Make sure that you have a reservation if you're planning to sit in during peak times as it's very very busy even on a Tuesday 😹

What a lovely, simple, low key, nothing overstimulating, overwhelming or overpriced. We ate SO much, it was fabulous. The service was always there when we needed it. We added on to the order over and over, and they were so accommodating. Delicious.

Stopped in for an early dinner on my recent trip to Glasgow. Surprised how many people were there for four o’clock, but the restaurant has communal tables and offers a great interaction and people watching experience. I ordered steamed gyoza, which were great, and a Katsu Chicken Curry, which I inhaled, despite being incredibly hot. I was still hungry, so also ordered a Shrimp Tempura Roll, which to be honest, wasn’t that great. The roll was poorly rolled and fell apart prior to eating. It was also mostly rice. I did enjoy the atmosphere and service was great. All the servers seemed to be helping each other and constantly checking in with everyone at the tables.

Way too much sauce in fried udon. I can just say it’s a canteen standard. Rice too hard in the bento. Nothing close to authenticity.

A good place to have hot sake and decent Japanese food. Clean and cosy setting, prompt service and tasty food. Reasonable prices too.

Nice Japanese restaurant with friendly staff and decent food. The prices are a little bit pricey but okay; the food wasn’t all that bad too. The rice was slightly under average but could be better. The sushi was pretty nice though and for £4 plus, is a decent deal.
