Came to this wonderful restaurant on the 7th November with my two beautiful daughters. It was a celebration for my youngest daughters new job. The food was absolutely delicious. So fresh and flavoursome. The atmosphere and service were both superb. And then we met Thomas who couldn't do enough for us, not to mention his great sense of humour and handsome looks. We will most definitely be visiting again very soon. Could not recommend this restaurant enough.

It was our first visit to Nuwairah’s Old Harlow and certainly won’t be our last! What a fab little find. The restaurant was beautifully decorated, welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. The staff were attentive and friendly too. We went for the sushi option which is hard to find in this area. Absolutely stunning food and reasonably priced too! Beautifully presented. We couldn’t fault it. Definitely going to try the Mexican food next time. Can’t wait to return. So lovely to have this gem of an eatery within walking distance. We will definitely recommend to friends to go.

Visited this restaurant for our Anniversary and the food was amazing! Service was really good, everything tasted fresh and we really enjoyed ourselves! One thing to point out was when we attended (Friday from 7pm - 8:30pm), we were the only people in the Restaurant. As huge Sushi lovers we actually only stumbled upon this place by chance as we walked past it one day! This place needs to be marketed more as we had said for ages we wish there was a sushi restaurant in Harlow and there was one the whole time! As mentioned above, food was delicious, staff were friendly and decor was nice! Only recommendations for improvements would be to dim the lights a bit, change the type of music playing and adjust volume (we had songs by Chris Brown etc playing whilst we were having a romantic meal) - this is not a bad thing tho! Would also like to see them offer Sushi platters at different price points (£30, £50, £70, etc), as we often order these options at other places. Overall, I would recommend and we will definitely be coming back for the sushi but to also try the Mexican element! Really hope they invest in some marketing (social media campaigns, leaflet distribution etc) as so many people are missing out!

The quality of the food is not too good. The rice was little hard and the size is too small for the price that they are selling. The mexican cuisine, we asked a burrito with black beans and without pico the gallo but they sent conpletely wrong. The japanese food arrived warmed instead of a bit cold because is a raw fish, its dangerous to eat.The Yo sushi from Tesco is 10 times better and cheaper.

Had Sushi and Gyoza from here. Tempted and tried the Indian also. Great food, such a nice place to relax and chill. Definitely coming back for the amazing service.

A lovely hidden gem in Old Harlow! I recently visited Nuwairah’s Bar and Restaurant. The mix of Japanese, Mexican, and Indian cuisine sounds unusual, but it really works — everything was fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. The sushi was some of the best I’ve had locally, the katsu curry is gorgeous and curries are exceptional! This is not my first time dining here, the tacos here are packed with so much taste! Unforgettable evening. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome, even going the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was relaxed and stylish, perfect for a casual dinner or a special occasion.
