Lappert's Hawaii

A great ice cream and coffee shop located in Poipu. We enjoyed a cup of coffee and a delicious ice cream while sitting outside and watching the chicken begging for food.

Lappert's in the Kukui'ula Village is top-notch. I had their single scoop in a cup with whip cream and a cherry. Enjoyed the Hawaiian coconut and it was delicious. Beautiful location as well and plenty of parking.

Ice cream was tasty. We ordered 4 different flavors and all were good. The sizing is small for the price. The young man helping us could have been more helpful but maybe he was enjoying it being only our family before the huge after dinner rush. Tables outside should be cleaned between guests. They were pretty dirty outside.

Absolutely the best coconut ice cream in the world. We always have, at least, a couple cones every time we are in Kauai. The ice cream. Is worth the trip BTW itself.

Plenty of unique island flavors to choose from. Favorites were the Pineapple Upside down cake, Toffe Crunch, and Ne Ne Tracks. We arrived around 4 pm on a Friday and there was no wait. On various other days we skipped stopping by because the wait was out the door and not moving. This was anytime after 5 pm weekdays or weekends. Seating outside is more than what’s available inside. Overall, the flavors are great and service was quick and nice.

Left dinner and rushed over to get here before they closed at 9pm and got here at 8:45pm on a Saturday night and they were closed. Staff had already locked the doors and put away the ice cream. We made a quick pivot to Koloa Mill ice cream which was also closing at 9pm- and arrived at 8:55 and they were incredibly friendly and served us before closing at 9 and the ice cream was delicious! Highly recommend going there instead.

Tonight was very disappointing, I arrived at the ice cream shop at 8pm because it said online it closed at 9 online. I waiting in line for about 10 mins until an employee suddenly locked the door and half the line outside. We tried to ask a man at the back door why this was, but his demeanor was very off and he kept trying to get us away from the door. What used to be a great spot for families and ice cream is now remembered for their lack luster service.

A must for coffee and sweets! Delicious coffee, iced caramel coffee out of this world! We also had the iced Kauai Pie but we did not like it, it was overload on the flavors. I wish we had a chance to have the ice cream, it looked like the best on the island. The macadamia nut cookies were amazing as well. Stroll along the shopping center which has a bunch of cute shops and places to dine. Enjoy!
