So lovely, been meaning to visit this restaurant, great reviews from friends. The restaurant itself is smaller than most but it’s so lovely how it’s been presented, love the fish lights! Had dinner for 3 of us, mixed starters and mains & wine. Extensive drinks menu, cute cocktails too. Food was delicious, flavorful, fresh tasting, generous portions, ordered a main each, enough to share between 3. Staff are lovely, very welcoming and attentive. The takeaway was very popular so will be ordering the next Chinese from here. Definitely add to your must visit in Hornchurch. Will be back!

This is simply the best oriental restaurant we've ever been to. The food was such high quality that we cannot wait to come back even though we're full right now. Try the cocktails too - exceptional! And in regards to the staff, we couldn't have imagined a nicer bunch of people, the service was perfect. Cannot recommend highly enough 👌

Wow! What a lovely place…. Walked by earlier in the day curious to see their menu and decided to have dinner there. Arrived about 8, no reservation and got sat down immediately. Had a bowl of complimentary prawn crackers that were crisp and tasty and we ordered the steamed dim sum platter, crispy duck platter, Mongolian lamb platter, special fried rice and soft shell crab…Tsing Tao and a delicious Elderflower cooler… when ordering the dim sum our server warned us about the sweet custard bun in the dim sum collection and asked if we would like to swap for a savoury - which we declined and happy we did! Dim sum was hot, delicious and juicy… the custard bun was soft, fluffy and sweet but not too sweet… the duck and lamb were tasty and crispy - not greasy like some versions we have tried, along side the special fried rice that had juicy prawns and soft chunks of meat….every bite was amazing and staff were very attentive and friendly. Highly recommend this little gem and will define coming back!

Very impressed. Highly recommend! Food is delicious. I need to find better words that can give them the credit it deserves. It’s now my go to Chinese restaurant! We went twice with a space of a week! Once for lunch set menu £10-20pp and once for dinner £20-30pp including drinks for both. So happy to have crispy noodles! Not many places do this in the area (I travel all the way from Grays!) Happy with the service and portions. Atmosphere and furnishings make it very pleasant to eat in.

A friend recommended this place to me, and it truly did not disappoint. The atmosphere was cozy and comfortable, the food was delicious, and the service was excellent. I came here with a few friends, and we had such an enjoyable gathering. Next time I visit Hornchurch to see my friends, I’ll definitely come back again—and I’d highly recommend it to everyone!

First time going. Friend and I had a lovely meal. Food was fabulous and plentiful. Price for lunchtime menu was excellent too. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be going back.

This was our second visit since our first only two weeks ago and it looks like we’ll be back many more times in the future. A friendly welcome awaited us when we arrived before being shown to our table. We started with a non alcoholic cocktail while we looked at the menu. This is an extensive menu with a wide selection of Starters , Dim Sum , Rice Dishes , Noodles , Mains , Soups , Ramen and Desserts. To start we enjoyed the Dim Sum Platter , Japanese Chicken Wings and Japanese Edamame. For the main courses we had the Scallops with vegetables , cashew nuts and steamed rice as well as the Ho Fun Noodles , Szechuan chilli and mixed seafood which were both delicious. They then kindly made us a special dessert to finish. The food is amazing and the team are very friendly so I would highly recommend a visit. Thank You Bento Hornchurch and look forward to seeing you again soon.
