The food was good flavor was absolutely phenomenal. We did get two steaks and they were a little on the tougher side meat wise what flavor was definitely there and we had blooming onion and that thing was humongous. We had salads with our steak and they were all fresh. The only complaint that we had was the meat was just a little bit tough. But the manager did fix the bill for us because of that experience. We did not want him to do that but he said the meat is usually tender so let me take care of part of the bill so he gave us a discount. We will definitely be back to eat here again. The atmosphere was welcoming and warm. Very clean restaurant so we're the restrooms. Staff was exceptional... paid attention to detail and were very warm and welcoming from the time we walked in to the time we left. Always having a smile on their faces and kind words for their customers. Again we will return.

Good food served in a great atmosphere. Definitely a lot of locals dinning here, so you know they are doing something right. I had the tenderloin which was seasoned really well and the tots we also great.

Stumbled upon this establishment this afternoon, and what a surprise. Having been a former chef for over 2 decades, I’m not a picky eater, but very observant of details. This place was absolutely fabulous. ( I had the meatloaf with smashed potatoes and green beans) The plate presentation was spot on, the portions again spot on. The flavor of the food was outstanding, the details all the way down to how they prepared the simplest thing green beans… was superb in every aspect, taste , flavor, consistency. And the service was superb as well. The atmosphere music is a perfect choice. Very very well done to the person or persons that make this happen. Absolutely fabulous dining experience. Had an excellent breakfast this morning at Windmill Grill. The eggs were fluffy, bacon crisp, the potatoes perfect, and coffee was nice 'n hot. Loved it! Annie was a great server and kept the coffee flowing. ☕😎

My boyfriend and I ate here on July 19 for breakfast. My guy had western omelet, coffee and I had the Belgium waffle and coffee. Everything came out hot and delicious. Yasmin was our server and she did a phenomenal job. This is our second visit here, we will be back.

Their food was great other than the steak was a little tough. The waitress was very friendly, the restaurant was clean as well as the bathroom. I would recommend eating here, and I will again cause I want to try their fish.

Windmill Restaurant in Kokomo is a personal favorite of mine. It has a welcoming local vibe that keeps me coming back. The service is always friendly and makes the experience even better. The food consistently hits the spot (Hoosier breakfast), whether you’re there for breakfast or lunch. There is plenty of parking, which makes it convenient for anyone stopping by. I have modified this review after one of the owners reached out to me. She did advise they do not charge a fee for card use and has made things right. They investigated the situation and have indicated it is resolved. This is a nice place to eat on the west side of town and is generally very busy. Given that they do not charge a fee for credit cards, which was the crux of my initial harsh review. I do have my suspicions of what happened. I have deleted the negative parts of my review. Service generally decent. Food pretty good. Decent place to go and the new owners do watch over things.
