Pizza was amazing! We ordered half combo and half pepperoni. The pizza was giant, the toppings were fresh and plentiful, the sauce was was the right amount and had good flavor, and (my favorite part) the crust was delicious! All in all, it reminded me of pizza I had in Rome. Definitely recommend. The staff was really nice. The only reason I took off one star was because both of the diet soda options were broken and didn't get fixed in time for me to get a drink.

Best pizza I’ve had in a while, especially for the price. I specifically got the polpette. Their pasta rigatoni w/ a side of meatballs was delicious and good shareable options. The chocolate cake with what I think was tiramisu filling? Left me baffled wondering what I have done to deserve such a delicious dessert to grace my lips.

***update*** Could you imagine asking guests to re order food from your restaurant, and when they try to do so the person on the phone being as rude as possible? Then trying to blame it on people around her? I’d rather just take my business elsewhere rather than give this place a second try!*** When you pay $50 for pizza you want it to be worth it. Ours was sitting on top of the pizza oven, on the bottom of several other pizzas and was smashed. Neat.

Don’t go for the atmosphere. The food is amazing. We had thick pizza. It was delicious. We had went to the former location. They have retained the quality it might be any better!

Absolutely delicious! We visited on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. It was pretty busy but we ordered with very little wait and had food at our table in less than ten minutes! Everything was delicious - we had the classic eggplant Parmesan with pasta and a big slice of pizza. That sauce is magic! Everything that their sauce touches turns to gold. Appreciated the super fast and friendly service and the incredible food! So excited to see Avelluto’s back open!

We have loved everything we have tried but I’m particularly impressed with the caprese and penne alla vodka! Simple dishes but surprisingly hard to find done right! The staff is also really friendly and the two times we have been, I noticed they greet a lot of regulars by name which is really cool. Definitely a staple in our rotation now that we live in RP! We have done takeout but will have to eat in soon.

Got the vodka sauce pizza which had cheese and basil. The crust was absolutely amazing the pizza itself was not great. It’s was just melted cheese on a delicious cracker but I didn’t come for bread I came for pizza. I Knew it didn’t have meat or anything like that but The sauce I think was ever so lightly kissed onto the cheese so basically it was just cheese and bread. This was their signature pizza and I’m not sure how. I’ve had plenty of pizza in New York and Chicago and all of it even the not so popular places blow this out of the water. It’s just hard to imagine an 18 inch pizza costing 30 dollars and there is literally nothing in it. It was a cheese bread the crust was perfect though I will give them that. I came here because of all the good reviews which I did see some good looking pasta dishes around I wished I ordered instead but severely disappointed in their signature pizza.

I loved it when it was across the street and I love it now. It's a little different and not quite the wide variety of items but plenty of options still. My favorites are as they were Stromboli reigns supreme, eggplant Parm is the best I've had in Kansas City, pizza also the best in KC. New York style big big slices with great sauce. The prices are good too. I got a lot of food and drawer for 4 people spending 50. My wife and I can get dinner for under 20 too. Cheaper than fast food and 1000% times better. Now back to the sauce. Always get extra it's amazing. I love the sauce. The Stromboli and calzone come with sauce but for less than a dollar you get an extra serving of the sauce which is totally worth it... Or be like me abd get 3 extra servings because it's that good. Their sausages are also great and their chicken Parm is very good. Their Italian sandwiches better than any sandwich shop with fresh tasting delicious sliced meat. Or try the house made pasta (everything is house made but people see to get a bigger kick out of house made pasta. The pizza is house made and you get to watch the owner flipping and spinning the dough in the air.) The old location was larger with more space for tables this one is smaller more suited for carry out orders but there are a decent amount of tables inside and the ambiance is good. overall this is one of my all time favorite restaurants I was saddened for years when it closed and oh so happy it is back.
