Hy-Vee Grocery Store

Worst family chicken dinner EVER! I paid $30 and got the worst chicken I've ever seen anywhere! The food was all bone and fried crust! We are regulars here but NO MORE! I FEEL SCAMMED! I expected better quality than this.

Nice store, reasonable price, wide variety of fresh and process food produce. The deli, meat department is also good. The food department has good selection of ready to eat food. Orange chicken is my favorite. Overall store is good pla e for your daily grocery needs.

Today we just visited the kitchen area to eat breakfast. The breakfast was very good and the service was very kind. The man behind the register was a first class Individual and human being. A true asset to that store. Because of him, I will definitely be returning with my family.

There pharmacy has been gaslighting me for the last year or two. My doctor prescribes 90 day scripts they only send me 30 days at a time, when I confront them about it they say the scripts are for 30 days. Well, I finally got with my doctor and had her issue paper scripts.So that I could verify that she was doing her thing properly. Finally, I get a lady at the window. Saying that there's absolutely no way that the pharmacists would do anything other than issue me exactly what the doctor ordered. And not thirty seconds later, a pharmacist comes up and renigs on that statement and says, well, my insurance won't pay for ninety days at a time. I was unaware that it was within the pharmacist's purview to decide for a client. If that client wanted to pay for a full ninety days of a prescription or not regardless of what the insurance company says. Additionally, this sounds to me like a pharmacist who is not a doctor making unilateral decisions about medication.In which they have no authority or authorization to do. It seems awfully convenient that they won't issue medication.When they don't have the exact dosage per pill in stock. Even though it is within their purview to issue a larger or smaller dosage per pill.And change the directions to cut in half and take half a pill. But they won't do that.However, they will issue less medication than is prescribed on the script. I've spoken with several other individuals that have had this.Or similar issues with high vee, pharmacies and I strongly encourage anyone who has issues to lay into these people and hold them accountable. Of course, they don't make that easy, as there is no readily accessible phone number to anyone of any consequence. That is available to individuals so far as i'm aware, perhaps it is time for class action lawsuit.

Choosing Hyvee over other grocery stores since 2000 :-) recently visited a price chopper in the area and quickly realize why I drive the extra 10 minutes to shop at my neighborhood Hy-Vee.

I’ve had good experiences here before but today the entire staff was not on their game. Ordered mashed potatoes at the counter, the girl seemed like she didn’t know how to scoop food in a container and didn’t fill the container. It’s also 5pm and for some reason they barely had any potatoes and one choice of gracy. The guy at the butcher counter seemed annoyed that I got more than one item. I also ordered flowers for my anniversary and went to the flower counter like normal. For whatever reason, they sent me to the pickup container in the parking lot. Took me over 20 mins to get those.

We chose HyVee to make our cake and cupcakes for our wedding. Tara did a beautiful job mixing up special colors and making everything we had asked for, and for a super reasonable price. Only reasons for 4 stars because there was no fondant work or gluten- or dairy-free options.

Top Notch! Just check out the pictures and you’ll see! THE PHARMACY IS EXCELLENT! THEY ARE SO FRIENDLY AND PATIENT WITH EVERYONE. The store is always well stocked, and the hot food, especially the Chinese is great. They have a restaurant attached, but the bar inside is where I go. The produce is always fresh, and the floral department always has a great selection. Plus, they have a great section of sports attire, koozies, and all else you need in front of the registers. SHOUT OUT TO ARIEL IN CUSTOMER SERVICE. She is one of the best, and that’s coming from someone who used to be a manager at a grocery store.
