Went here over the bank holiday weekend, for a 70th birthday. The staff were really friendly, polite, and very attentive. Quick service with the drinks. Food was waiting a little while, but that was fine as we weren't in any hurry. They didn't have the belly pork, which we were so gutted. Food wasn't too bad, most of our party enjoyed their food. I was the picky one. The chicken didn't really have flavour. But the fries were lovely. The puddings were delicious. We booked a table upstairs. It was awesome, and there was a great atmosphere. Music was brilliant. DJ was awesome. I highly recommend this place if you're in the area. We hope to go back soon.

Charmed by its interior, I decided to try Tipsy Teapot after seeing rather positive reviews on its food and drinks. I think I will need to be beyond tipsy to like whatever food we have received. I wish to have a chat with the chef and whoever done the disservice to these poor tapas plates. Smaller than its usual for tapas portions, most of them contained at least two items, lukewarm and most of them tasted greasy. The sauces were fine, although I was entertained by how one of the sauces was so runny it struggled to coat the so-called satay skewer sausages (which was basically a sausage chopped and whole of it pierced through). Didn't help with the overwhelming grease. Alongside increasing higher risk of cholesterol, we have also increased a risk on diabetes through the sweetest mocktails we've had in a while. Staff wise, generally friendly but attentiveness needs a little work. Despite it being relatively not a busy night, one of the staff forgot to bring water to us. The place has potential but it severely needs to change their kitchen staff.

Wheelchair accessible if you are okay with the skinny front door. There menu is labeled for Gluten-free, vegan, vegetarian, and dairy-free options. There is seating available outside during nice weather. As the door says, the downstairs is a restaurant while upstairs is a dancing area and bar or space for group events. There are highchair available for toddlers. We ordered a tuna crunch sandwich, butternut & sweet corn fritters, and the Philly Steak Load Em Up with chips and crisps. It took a while to get our food but felt it was very well prepared. The tuna crunch sandwich was nice with the sage fries. The Philly steak dish was well presented, the meat was delicious and cooked well, but I think it was a little heavy on the nacho cheese sauce - I do recognize Philly Steak menu items in general have a lot of cheese. This was just more than I wanted. Overall, very happy with our experience. We paid by card but you can also pay by cash. Nice music downstairs, not too loud and allows for conversation. The decoration was so whimsical and wonderful! It was well done and is very appreciated. The bathroom was wheelchair accessible and clean.

Cocktails divine, decor- cute. Tapas - err, duck spring roles have a lot of meat but well over fried, dark and hard (rusty/crusty) Same with the hallumi. Hard as rocks, over fried, hard to chew. Pls kitchen, work on that... wouldn't recommend for tapas at all. Also, the hummus - came cold and with some Indian or some other spices, just bizarre... Waiter - really friendly.

We stumbled upon the Tipsy Teapot on a weekend away, and it was fabulous! They were able to accommodate us turning up without a booking. I loved the decor it is so fun and adds to the atmosphere. I was pleasantly surprised with the vast options of gluten-free food, and it was absolutely divine! We were quite gutted that we were too full for desert at they looked lovely. It's a great surprise to go from the nice dining experience downstairs to the night club vibes upstairs. The toilets are so fun. There is nothing that I can fault. I wish we had a local venue like this!
