Magic Monkey

I have been wanting to dine at Magic Monkeys Restaurant for a while and I am so glad that I have found this little gem of a restaurant. The staff were amazing, so accomodating. The food was incredible. I could have chosen from anything on the menu which made my decision difficult and I finally settled on a Magic Monkey bowl with some sides and it was stunning. Very reasonably priced too which made the whole experience even more perfect for my overdue catch up with a friend. Perfect atmosphere for drinks and food with friends Also, they rustled up a beautiful cocktail for me which was stunning (should have took a photo)

We hired Magic Monkey with exclusive use to celebrate a Hen Brunch - From start to end, the planning stages were easy, a delicious food platter was delivered on the day, the music was good vibes and the girls working our event were just so lovely! We will definitely be back.

Visited for son’s birthday as a group of 9 for brunch. Whole experience from start to finish was fantastic. Booking was easy, menu provided everyone with unique allergies something to enjoy. Quality of food was immense (sourdough royale in particular was amazing). Staff were attentive but not intrusive. Lovely place and decor, would recommend and definitely revisit

We were lucky to stumble across the Magic Monkey this morning. The menu is incredible. A range of traditional and ‘proper’ Caribbean fusion dishes. They actually have Doubles on the brunch menu (if you know, you know!). We had the avocado on rye and the traditional English breakfast. The food was so amazingly fresh with such incredible flavour and beautiful presentation. And to top it of Jenel the Co-owner is literally the nicest person you could want to meet. Her passion for their food and the experience as a diner is exemplary. Magic Monkey is truly a rare find - cool ambience, superb menu, fantastic people. Literally a 10 out of 10. So much so we booked to go back for dinner later this evening! More than just dining out - a culinary experience. This place deserves much love and good things. Hugs. Faye & Andy xx

My friend and I came for a midweek brunch and we were delighted! Walking in, the atmosphere, music and decor was stunning. The service was so friendly. And of course the food was second to none. Such a beautiful fusion of food. We shared the money bowl and double tacos! We will definitely be back.

Visited for Saturday Brunch, the food was delicious, everyone in our group enjoyed their dishes, cocktails were expertly mixed and presented. Service was efficient and friendly. Great music playlist as well, only two minor issues, would be great if the beer choice was more extensive, maybe a selection of craft beers and some of the menus were very tatty and need replacing, highly recommended and will certainly return in the future.
