This is without doubt one of the best Sunday lunches I have ever had. The staff were friendly and efficient and the food was very good. We sat in the conservatory area which was warm and well spaced out. It was also very busy, which is always a good sign. We will be going again. The Sunday roast chicken dinner was £19.50 and well worth it.

8 of us visited for lunch 04/09/25. We ordered very different mains and deserts and it was testament to the quality and beautiful presentation that every plate was eaten with nothing left. Very good portion sizes and all dishes appeared freshly prepared. The ambiance and comfort of this eatery is warm and welcoming and the service was on point. Definitely a place worthy of visiting.

Food was excellent, service was excellent, it was lunchtime so it was a bit quiet, but I'm sure it has a good atmosphere at the weekend when it gets busy, will definitely be back.

Lovely building, good location, great decor, nice atmosphere. Very small bar, fair selection of local ales but I never saw a member of staff behind the bar. Had Sunday lunch here a couple of times, overall pretty disappointing especially given the premium price. Wait times for food and drink were far too long, 30 mins plus for drinks, 1 hour plus for main course, dishes served at intervals and differing temperatures, even though the restaurant was less than half full. Food, when it arrived, was reasonable quality, generous portions but at best lukewarm. Nice dessert, terrible coffee. There seems to be a problem with staffing/management. Waiting staff were friendly but none of those we spoke to were familiar with the food or drinks on offer. And the kitchen clearly isn't able to cope with demand.

Terrible service. Went for sunday dinner with the family. We were asked what drinks we wanted while we were walking to the table without even seeing a menu. We ordered our food but they waited 30 minutes to tell us they had ran out of beef. We then waited a further 50 minutes to get our meals with no apology. All we got were excuses of being busy etc. The food was ok but well over priced. Would never go back.
