Really great Japanese food - the gyoza were plump, crisp, and oozing with flavour and a delicious sauce. The prawn tempura was spectacular - really light crisp batter and succulent prawns, properly good. Fennel and cucumber salad was good, fresh, but perhaps a little over-priced for the size of the portion. All round great though and definitely worth stopping by.

An impromptu evening visit as we happened upon the restaurant. The interior is comfortable and cosy with outdoor, covered seating which would be lovely weather depending. The staff were all lovely and friendly and didn't rush us even though we arrived only a few minutes before the kitchen was closing. The food did not disappoint. Every dish was enjoyed by us both and we will definitely be returning. A hidden gem discovered.

was absolutely amazing hands down one of the best food spots in the area, went there after i got back to the uk from a little holiday and once again i left with a massive smile. the chefs are so nice and the servers are amazing, the food was incredible - had to even go back to the chef and tell them it was amazing. will forever be a regular food sport for me!

We really liked this Izakaya, their karage chicken is excellent they also serve tasty sushi rolls. The charred tomato salad is vegan and yum!

Such a beautiful place to eat just around the corner. Me and my partner had sushi and bai buns served by the young man who made sure we had a lovely time and enjoyed our food. The food quality/taste was 10/10 and I would highly recommend everyone to try it out! Will definitely visit again! Thank you.

What a great addition to the Deptford Market Yard. We tried several dishes on the menu, varying from karaage to sushi, all came out pretty quickly and was delicious. Very friendly staff, no cheap chopsticks, and nice atmosphere overall. Also very happy to have a Sapporo beer again! Definitely coming back to try more of the menu.

Great place with amazing and attentive service. Delicious food in generous portions! We visited for the first time since Kekaki is local to us not expecting much. How, the quality of the food and flavour was amazing. Very well executed slightly non traditional Japanese done exceptionally well. Amazing atmosphere inside, very lively and cosy which in spirit resembled a traditional Japanese Izakaya. Great place would definitely revisit.
