Tombo Japanese Cafe

I had a delicious dinner here this evening. The tofu ramen was excellent with a very tasty broth and the inari was also nice. To drink I had a strawberry oat milk matcha — good. Service is friendly, you can order and pay via a QR code, and the food arrived quickly. Good for solo travellers as well as couples and small families. I would definitely eat here again :)

i got the chicken katsu udon noodles and my boyfriend got the chicken katsu don, and we hadn’t been for japanese food before and we both thought the service and food was amazing! top tier for sure 🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️ whenever we’re back in south kensington we’re definitely coming back! the staff were so attentive and lovely! also great spot for matcha hot or cold 🥹💖

Nice food and tea. Pricing lightly on the high side for small portion. They gave you a QR code to order and pay, so customers needed to pace out when you wanted the food, drinks or dessert.

This restaurant is a true little gem! Highly recommend stopping by for lunch or dinner before or after visiting the museums. The matcha ice cream is absolutely amazing, and the ramen is delicious. The staff are friendly, and the prices are very reasonable for London. A perfect spot to relax and enjoy a tasty meal while exploring the city.

I loved everything about this place. It's not cheap though - I had Osaka poke bowl and a flat white for £20. Generous portions, and even the hot sauce didn't make it worse - I could still taste every flavour. The staff is polite, nice, helpful. There are options to order and pay by QR code, but also you can do it in person. The Japanese pop adds to the vibe, it was not loud but rather energetic background.

Lovely Japanese cuisine restaurant, with nice atmosphere, with tasty food, good portions and affordable prices. The staff is friendly and they have an optional menu/ordering/pay service available through their website using the table's QR code for convenience.

Absolutely fantastic food - we got the curry and udon . The portions were very generous for the cost imo. You can taste the homemade care of food. Highly recommended the matcha and Japanese soda. Will come back
