An amazing authentic family run Japanese restaurant serving delicious freshly made food.. We had a selection of foods varying from the pickles, mixed tempura, soba soup, salmon sushi and sashimi salad and 2 different desserts, a vanilla ice cream with sake chocolate syrup and a black sesame ice cream with mochi.. All in all were very pleasantly impressed with this friendly place and will be back soon! Highly recommend!

Have been going to Tomoe for over a decade and it never disappoints. Quality of the food, generous portions, consistent management, great service. They recognise recurring customers. But more expensive than the average south london restaurant... but you pay for a quality that is difficult to match.

The food was amazing especially the miso aubergine. Great service. Definitely going back! The vibe here is very cosy, great for date night or chilling after a long day. Although it can get booked pretty fast even on weekdays.

Very satisfied for food, service and atmosphere! We visited here for our anniversary and really happy we decided to come here! Price isn't cheap but really worth to pay and you can experience authentic Japanese food.

A superb little gem of genuine Japanese food . Superb fresh tenderest tuna I've ever eaten in London . Excellent waygu beefstake . Friendly efficient service with reasonable prices . Can't recommend enough . 4💫stars easily 😋😋

Refreshing my review as this is nearly 2 years old and I have visited many times and continue to be impressed. Recommend calling ahead to book a table especially on weekends. Top notch Japanese restaurant - traditional style. The Bento Box is extremely good value for such high quality food (the one in the picture was £28 including a generous serving of sashimi). Also recommend the tempura Oyster and tsukemono (pickles). Sushi and Sashimi is some of the best in London - even better than some of the high end famous restaurants which are significantly more expensive! It's not a "cheap" meal but for the quality of food it's extremely good value. Service is efficient, polite and non-intrusive. Often see people having date night there! Original review: Absolutely brilliant Japanese. Understated with the focus very much on the very high quality food.
