bought a bento to eat on the train, and it was truly a pleasant surprise. I’ve tried various sushi places in supermarkets around the UK before and always found them disappointing, but I didn’t expect that this time I could finally enjoy sushi that actually tastes like proper sushi. This meal was truly satisfying. The only regret is that there isn’t a branch of this shop in Newcastle. I wonder when I’ll get the chance to enjoy it again in Newcastle?

Superb experience with this japanese fast-food restaurant - I highly recommend the beef ramen as well as the Korean style BBQ chicken pops (see picture for the latter) which were delicious. The place is located upstairs close to the Harry Potter store in the King’s Cross station, with a few tables. Plenty of choices at affordable prices. Lastly, the cashier was very kind to help us retrieve the receipts for the take-away from the previous day (we had forgotten to ask for them). Great service and inexpensive good food, I will definitely visit again the next time I come to London 😊😋

I bought sushi and sashimi rice to eat on the train. The sushi rice was just right-not too sour or overly raw-tasting. I’ve tried many supermarket sushi before, but most of them were disappointing: the rice was hard and had an overwhelming vinegar taste, and the sashimi didn’t taste very fresh. This time, however, I was pleasantly surprised-it was the best fast-food sushi I’ve ever had. It truly tasted delicious and well-prepared. Unfortunately, there isn’t a store like this in Newcastle, so it might be a while before I get to enjoy sushi of this quality again. I wonder when I’ll have the chance to savor sushi this good back in Newcastle.

Awful, humiliating experience. I came at 10-30 pm to redeem a "To Good To Go" order for which I paid £5 advertised as "savings from £15". From 10-30 pm this store has a 30% off sale, which I onew. So before buying a voucher I considered that I could get me a salmon nigiri set or salmon poke or another sushi set for the same £5 at the same with with discount, or noddles. They are all around £8 full price coming down to £5. The only reason I went with "Too good to go" is that it said it was a "selection" of itemS (multiple) and a discount from £15. So I was supposed to get £15 worth of food at full price. This did not happen. At the dame time as me, people streamed into the store and all got sushi sets to pay £5 for, and I was given one Katsu Chicken Donburi which would cost me £5 right there and then. At my protestations staff who barely spoke any English laughed and ridiculed me in front of the queue suggesting I was getting "free food". But of course I was not getting free food, in fact I paid what at that time would be full cash price for it, stuck with the good I did not want and defrauded at a false promise of a discount. Since I only got one item that is £5 at that time anyway, where is my £5 (£15 crossed out) which is why we use the app? Why did the staff shout at me that this was "free food"? Do they not see that I oaid £5 and that is exactly how mich this item with the 30% discount is, so I got zero discount but also zero choice and got humiliated and shouted at?! Ridiculous himiliating experience. Never again.

I always try and get Wasabi Sushi on my train journey from Cambridge or London Kings Cross . It is such a delicious meal at affordable price. Definitely price vs quality is great 😊

There is a large seating area. They stock loads of vegan options such as: vegetable Gyoza on yakisoba bento, yasai tofu curry with rice, pumpkin katsu curry bento with rice, vegetable Gyoza box, yasai roll set and vegetable ramen with Gyoza etc. you have have some of them warmed. There are drinks, wasabi bites and some treats. Staff are busy but helpful. I would definitely go back.

Whenever I’m in London I eat the Chicken Katsu Curry from wasabi. The one from this particular branch was as good as always. The portions might not be as big as at the one in Victoria, where it’s not prepackaged, but the taste is the same. The curry tastes like in Japan and is worth every penny if you ask me:)

Can’t wrong with a Wasabi takeout. Fresh, quick and transportable. I always get it before boarding my train, doesn’t smell strong, easy to take way and don’t need to use my hands to eat. Chopsticks all the way!
