I have had Wasabi twice in the past 6 months. Both times I was sick, bad stomach and migraine. We have previously eaten from wasabi for over 15 years and never once have I been sick until now. The chicken tasted like mushy batter and the noodles disintegrated as soon as I’d put them in my mouth. I will never eat their food again. That’s 2 full days of sickness I can never get back. Shame on them.

Nice food to take on the train. The chicken can be better though.

I used to eat a lot here. Food is amazing But the new concept requires to hold the food in plastic containers for long time in a kind of hot oven shelfs. I am afraid the plastic want behave good with the food...5 min is ok but 1 hr heating food in the plastic wont be ideally . I was better to serve as before. More personal touch , friendly staff. Now is a supermarket!

Nice food with a reasonable price. I really like this take away shop. There are some tables in front of the shop if you are not bothered while you're eating by people who just pass by or ask some change like a proper train station.

Beef noodle soup was tasteless.

I miss the old style Wasabi with the hot counter. Now the food sits out under a heater getting stale. The portions also seem to get steadily smaller as the prices rise. And you no longer have the option to "go large".

Chicken was tiny pieces and not enough katsu sauce to cover one piece . Threw half the bento box away as I don't enjoy dry rice . Wont be coming back !

This place has taken many pounds Stirling from my bank account and probably given a few pounds of visceral fat back to me, but it is ideally placed for me to grab some tucker for my homeward bound train journey. The food is freshly prepared (if nothing else because of the sheer volume they sell) and they have a good selection of items, portions and price points, with plenty of vegan/veggie options. They lose 2 stars for the immense amount of waste they create in the form of plastic bags and cutlery, and the fact they give people the bags without asking for it. I've given this feedback before as a suggestion that they ask people if they want a bag first and only if it's really needed (common sense tells you a solitary onigiri doesn't need a bag surely?) but I think it's fallen on deaf ears.
