Wasabi Sushi & Bento

I was craving sushi and I wanted it fast. Luckily this was on my way back to my hotel. I just got their variety tray, a specialty roll and edemame. For fast sushi, the quality wasn’t that bad at all. I throughly enjoyed my dining experience and it’s an easy check out process also. I’d definitely come back here again to try their other menu items.

Always good food at reasonable prices in wasabi. I usually have some sort of sushi set but today I tried the hot food and had the Korean chicken bites which were delicious. Lots of seating and found a seat relatively easily but it was a little before the lunch rush. Always happy to go to a wasabi for lunch!

Before seeing the musical, we had Wasabi as our dinner. Chicken fillet rice was not bad, while the rice for 🍣 was a bit hard. Since we chose to eat there, we paid 4 pounds more🥲

The food really is good quality. I had a sushi bento and was very happy with my early lunch because I had just beaten the rush. The desserts and drinks on offer are really good, too. I had the yuzu cheesecake mochi, which was brilliant. I made the mistake of returning on another day within an hour if closing: slim pickings and staff that were not as friendly or patient.

Really sadly the manager was really rude to the staff while I was there which was quite off putting She was telling the guy serving me to hurry and so he packed the sushi really fast and it completely squashed in the box

Absolutely unacceptable experience at this Wasabi branch. While I was eating at the Tottenham Court Road location, an unidentified person approached me and poured what appeared to be urine on me. Yes — in a restaurant, in central London. I was soaked, humiliated, and left feeling physically unwell and deeply shaken. Even worse, staff failed to intervene effectively or assist me properly. There was no visible security, no immediate action, no apology — just complete confusion and neglect. I’m now worried about my health, and I have serious concerns that the restaurant’s food and environment could be contaminated. This incident suggests a major failure in store security and hygiene standards. I’ve submitted a formal complaint and am waiting for a response, but in the meantime I would strongly warn others to think twice before eating here. No one should have to experience something like this while simply trying to have lunch.

Fast-food Sushi!! Who would have thought it would be so good and reasonably priced? I picked up the salmon sashimi box and there were quite a few slices of fish, plus seaweed, and edamame included. Was fresh and a great value. The atmosphere was nice and very clean with comfortable seating. Give it a try!
