Easy place to deliver to takes a bit of time expect to wait about 2-3 hours depending on how busy they are you can arrive early before they open just park in front of the gate and in the morning you can get to a door

The Food Bank of Delaware Cafe is an amazing resource for the community. There food is FIVE STAR quality of American style food with Europen, Asian and African dishes that pop up on the Special's Menu each day. Platters start at a very affordable $10 and can feed two people if shared. It's very high quality fare that is produced by two trained culinary chefs and managed by a street food consenieur and amaeutur Chef called Jr Emmanuel Duffy. I was personally treated to two BBQ chicken legs and I ordered an extra side of brisket because it looked so good. All this food was under $14 because I'm a U.S.veteran. They also give discounts to first responders and other qualifying service industry workers. A normal platter with an extra meat side would cost $16 for an average civilian. And like I wrote earlier they serve 5-star quality food and you will either need to take half home or share half of the platter. ... unless you actually eat like a hungry man, a body builder or an Olympic athlete. Come here immediately to their GROUNDBREAKING Cafe! And the Food Bank of Delaware also runs the Kitchen School, which is a free training program for adults with disabilities. They also maintain a community garden and of course a free food bank for disadvantaged people who have recently suffered a set back in their life and need a hand up with their food consumption until they get back on their feet. The Food Bank of Delaware opened in January 2024. And in my opinion, they are tearing it up! It's a must see resources for Milford and you have to experience it with your own eyes to understand the beauty and customer care philosophy behind their visionary and progressive program! It's truely a one of a kind gem in the whole of the United States! Although it is off the beaten path inside the interior of Milford, make sure to set your Google maps to visit here before the crowds get so thick that they will be forced to pack in more tables just to feed people. It truely is a an amazing culinary experience and a current hidden gem. #foodnation #yummy food #eatcheap

I came here Dec 4th and i was given 2 gallons of milk that expired on Dec 2nd. My babygirl drank the milk frome here that same night and was throwing up before bed. i checked the milk and of course it was sour. Same issue with mushrooms that expired on Nov 30th i opened the pack the VERY next day and the mushrooms smelled like feet and were slimey smh. This is not how you do people just because they are in need this place should not be loading expired foods just because people are in need they dont deserve to have their health at risk! Not very happy with this organization.
