This place is the worst! The staff is so rude, and there's tons of expired stuff on the shelves. The fruits and veggies are rotten, and the bakery smells terrible. Don't let the outside fool you, or the new carts. You'll be shocked when you go inside!

Love shopping here! Able to stock up on all my favorite Portuguese foods! Fresh baked breads! Pastries Tuna Cheeses Churico Expresso coffee Love my Luso and Costello water!! Fish market and butcher on site! Able to get chestnuts from Portugal in November!! Highly recommend!

25 Years being Seabra's Costumer!! Elmira 1000 in Elizabeth NJ. Let you know that just now, came from work and having my bookbag, HE the security guard at front want me to leave my bookbag right next to the door! I don't agree with him, and I saw costumers leaving the supermarket with personal bags! Where is the equality! Non sense.

A Portuguese owned store that sells international and domestic groceries. When shopping here, be sure to check the expiration dates on the items purchased. Also, prices listed on the self will FREQUENTLY scan higher at the cash register. I had this issue at this store many times, including the other family owned stores in NJ. See receipt in photos.

It is my favorite supermarket. I drive 30 minutes to shop here. The freak dish is amazing. The pork products are fantastic with a real butcher on site (old school service), the cold cuts are great.

It always seems messy, tight, small, crowded, etc. It's not appealing like it's other locations. It's disappointing.
