The Coriander

The Coriander Onger branch is 10 out of 10. All food was delicious, we had starter Chicken Tikka, Lamb Tikka, Salmon fish tikka (Unique dish) jal chicken Puri, Lamb chop, Tandoori Prawns, Sheek kebab. Main course was Tandoori spicy biryani, Sag King prawn, Tarka Dal, chicken jal freeze and chief spacial unique dish Maharaja Lam curry. Served with Naan, rice and fresh salad. Very tasty food, if I say short cut delicious. I recommend everyone should visit this restaurant. All staff, chief and owner are very friendly also. I'll go again definitely. Great food and great service. Can’t ask for much more! We paid partly using a voucher they donated to a local hospital trust as well, great to see them supporting the local community. We paid £50 per person due to having cocktails and multiple drinks

This place is so nice I'm a regular I'm always buying vindaloo and foul thought I would try the buffet and it didn't disappoint was amazing quality at a very good price the service was quick and every time I ran out of drinks or anything I didn't have to say they just looked at the table and said would you like more drinks so they knew straight away what I wanted amazing staff and management keep up the good work 100%Honest review .

I can’t fault this place! Sabir and his team have a fantastic new eatery in the heart of Ongar, and there’s parking directly opposite - so there’s no excuses not to go! The food is fantastic - the litmus test is their onion bhaji - delicious, and not greasy at all. What more you could you want? The menu has all manner of options, and ranges to Nepalese and beyond. They also have vegan and vegetarian options. Don’t hesitate to pop here! Thanks and we’ll be back for sure!

Absolutely lovely meal, the food was great with some great recommendations on what to order. It had the best service and we were very well looked after. Overall a lovely time here

Great restaurant! Visited with my family and were very impressed with the food quality. Staff were lovely and friendly, even offered us a drink on the house after paying the bill. Will definitely return soon!

We've had a big family birthday meal in Coriander this evening and it was superb in every way. The food was agreed by all as delicious and the service was spot on. We had a great waiter called Ata, a lovely friendly and funny personality. If we lived nearer we would definitely be regulars. Look forward to going back as soon as possible. Definitely worth a visit if you haven't been before. SUPERB 😀
