Came on a Sat night for a birthday. Walked in and could not believe how loud it was and it was rammed. Banging music combined with people shouting over each other to be heard. We had booked a table for 6. We were told to go and get a drink then come down to the table. It was so rammed you couldn't move and there was no chance we could get served at the bar. Shown to table, by rude man. It had table settings for 4, when there were 6 of us and all had to squeeze on to get us all in which was uncomfortable. Then we're told 'we're really busy tonight so you can only have your table for 1hr 30mins'. Luckily this wasn't true but not a great welcome. The food was ok, nothing to rave about and we couldn't hear each other over the constant thumping music. The girls who served us were lovely and did say it's not the best to come for food on a Sat. I think it needs to make up it's mind what it wants to be, either a bar or restaurant. Or just turn the music down a bit. Wouldnt come again

You will not leave hungry! As the staff correctly comment, the chef is a 'bit of a feeder'. Had the Cajun chicken sandwich and a fish goujon sandwich both on ciabatta. The food is well cooked and presented but for a sandwich there is just too much packed in there. In some ways that is not a bad thing but if you do stop for a quick lunchtime sandwich, you will not be wanting your tea later : ) Staff were lovely. Helpful and friendly. As a motorway traveller passing through, I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Bailey was fantastic on Saturday night while collecting our glasses. He was polite, friendly, and really efficient at keeping the place tidy without ever getting in the way. It made such a difference to have someone so reliable and hardworking on the team — everything ran smoothly thanks to his effort. Would definitely recommend Bailey & Lohan Serving us our cocktails was also brilliant

We booked a table at The Post House in Orrell for Saturday evening through the link on their website. When we arrived, the manager told us there was no booking and that there was absolutely no way we could be fitted in. Even after showing him our confirmation email which clearly showed the Orrell restaurant he dismissed it completely and rudely suggested that we’d probably booked a different restaurant. We had travelled to Orrell specifically to try The Post House for the first time, so this was incredibly disappointing. What made the situation even worse was the total lack of effort to help us. Despite having clear proof of our booking, there was no apology, no attempt to accommodate us, and absolutely no customer service. The manager even accused my husband of being aggressive, which was completely uncalled for. Overall, a really disappointing experience. We won’t be returning, and I’d strongly recommend the management fix their flawed booking system to avoid letting down other customers in the same way. Definitely would not recommend.

Had a fantastic meal at Posthouse in Orrell recently. The ribs were genuinely some of the best I’ve had—perfectly cooked, full of flavour, and falling off the bone. You can tell they take care with the preparation. Pairing them with their freshly made mojitos was spot on—the drinks were balanced, refreshing, and not overloaded with sugar like you find in some places. The atmosphere was relaxed but stylish, and the staff were attentive without being intrusive. Overall, a great spot if you’re after quality food and drinks at reasonable prices. I’ll definitely be back.

We visited this week on Monday afternoon between 3-5pm to celebrate my nieces 21st birthday! We was staying away for the weekend nearby at the glamping pods & we found this place online! And it was easy to walk in and had plenty of tables The small plate menu was what attracted me to dine here and it did not disappoint! The food is absolutely unbelievable! We had to thank the chef and ask him to come out because everything was perfect! The service was phenomenal, a lady called Louise was our host and she was the most welcoming and friendliest lady! We all ordered different small plates and sides for a 5 person table and felt it’s best share! Portions was huge, and all the food came out at the same time! We even ordered extra tacos because they was too nice!! Beautiful restaurant & atmosphere! Amazing prices & quality!! 10/10 restaurants & bar! Parking was also easy in the area for a main road, as there is a pub over the road called The Stag which has a parking meter, and it’s fairly affordable! And we went to the pub first for a drink to register free parking! Thanks everyone we had the best celebration here!! X

Amazing food, great decor, delicious cocktails. Most of all, the customer service is on point. Thank you everyone for making mu Mum's night out special. We can't wait to come back.
